B.S. Degree Progam / 120 Credit Hours
The RN to BSN degree program is designed for registered nurses who wish to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The programis designed for registered nurses who already have anAssociate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science degree in Nursing (A.S.N.) or have completed a diploma nursing program. To accommodate the adult learner, nursing courses in the curriculum are offered online.
The RN to BSN program provides the student with advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, critical thinking, leadership, management and advanced research skills. Upon completion of the RN to BSN program, graduates should also be able to exhibit ethical principles of nursing by demonstrating competent interaction and communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and the community.Graduates of the RN to BSN program are eligible to apply for graduate programs with advanced nursing degrees.
