Florida International College
2018 SUMMER ENGLISH CAMP
FIC’s English summer camps provide a safe, fun, nurturing environment that promotes active learning while fostering excitement in learning English and American Culture. The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is designed for campers whose first language is not English and who need to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Progressive levels of grammar structure, reading, writing, listening, speaking and living skills are taught to help the non-English speaker adjust to American life. New students will be evaluated by the Placement Test - listening and reading - in order to determine proper level placement in classes.
